The process of
sandblasting was developed by Benjamin Tilghman, when in 1870 he
developed a machine designed to strip away rust and paint from
surfaces. Thomas Pangborn expanded on Tilghman’s ideas in 1904
to create a new machine that used compressed air which combined an
abrasive material like sand in order to clean metal surfaces.
Modern sandblasters are not only limited to cleaning industrial-type
surfaces, but are also used for artistic purposes.
Our Ingersoll-Rand
industrial air compressors are some of the largest in the Brazos Valley, fit to
handle most all large industrial sandblasting jobs. Circle-S
employees are experienced sandblasters with many years of experience.
We provide our employees with a safe work environment, including quality
remote air breathing systems and protective safety equipment.
